On April 8th, Al Oliver came to Rotary to speak about his baseball career in which he displayed a decade and a half of consistent contact hitting making him a possible inductee to the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Following a very entertaining speech, Al received a Louisville Slugger baseball bat signed by Rotarians in the audience.  He also autographed a Louisville Slugger bat which will be auctioned off at our upcoming Rotary Bingo event on September 14th which will kick off our celebration and commemoration of our club's 100th anniversary in 2020.  Rotarians are being asked to offer items that can be given as Bingo prizes or auctioned off that night.  Al has promised to comeback soon and challenge the members to a sports trivia contest from the podium.
